For the delivery team, being “bombed with orders” is perhaps one of the nightmares that no one wants to encounter. Typically, they have to pay for the goods upfront before delivering them to customers, and when they get bombed, it means they lose a sum of money and end up with unwanted merchandise. Recently, the Vietnamese online community was once again abuzz with a trending story about a delivery guy who also faced the pain of being bombed with orders.
Specifically, it is unclear how much the order that was bombed cost him, but it seems to have upset him to the point that he went straight to get a tattoo, printing the order code on his arm as a way to remind himself to “engrave this in his heart” about today’s event.

The post quickly received a lot of interactions from the online community. Some people expressed sympathy, acknowledging and understanding the struggles of these tech delivery guys. Indeed, losing effort and money without receiving anything in return makes it understandable to feel frustrated and upset. However, there are also many who believe that this action is excessive; having been bombed with orders and losing money, why spend more to get a tattoo?

Who knows if this delivery guy will have to tattoo over his entire body with overlapping order codes in the future. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen, and that buyers’ awareness improves. Being a delivery guy is not an easy job at all.
