Dat Co’s real name is Nguyễn Thành Đạt, born in 1994 in Sơn Tây (Hanoi). He became a social media phenomenon by covering numerous hit songs by Tuấn Hưng such as “Tan”, “Dao Lam Con”, “Anh Nho Em”… With his heavily tattooed appearance resembling his idol, combined with his emotionally charged voice, Dat Co gained a significant following among young fans. Indeed, with his talent, Dat could have gone very far if he hadn’t tragically passed away in a traffic accident four years ago. His departure left friends and fans heartbroken. Remember that before his passing, Dat Co shared a photo with a bright smile and the caption: “Still okay.”

Currently, Dat’s YouTube channel only consists of clips uploaded from four years ago, but recently, a piece of good news was shared by his channel, now managed by his relatives. Although no new clips have been uploaded, the views and number of fans continue to grow. The number of subscribers has increased, which has brought Dat’s channel the YouTube Silver Play Button. This was also a wish of this young man while he was alive.

Excerpt from Dat Co’s channel:
“After the days when brother Dat could not make videos and left without a goodbye, I have now fulfilled his dream of getting the silver play button… the silver play button is now hung at brother Dat’s house, so everyone can rest assured. See, we are still continuing the unfinished dreams… Just that the way of writing is a little different!”
Thank you and good night, Dat!
