League of Legends: Wild Rift is currently in an alpha testing phase lasting over two weeks in Brazil and the Philippines. This game, when launched, will surely impact the position of Arena of Valor, at least in the Vietnamese market. Although it is still uncertain Arena of Valor will “collapse” because of League of Legends: Wild Rift, the unique position of this product is almost impossible to maintain like in previous years.

Many players, including some Arena of Valor players, are counting down to experience League of Legends: Wild Rift in the near future. Partly because Vietnamese gamers want a fresh breeze on mobile platforms, and partly because the Arena of Valor product has shown many many signs of instability recently such as hacking, elo boosting, account selling, game ruining, afk… causing many players to feel disheartened.

Recently, an Arena of Valor player was so upset that they expressed in the chat during the match, saying “If League of Legends: Wild Rift comes out, I’ll uninstall this game“. According to the person who posted this image, the player was “beaten too much,” leading to frustration and a willingness to abandon Arena of Valor if League of Legends: Wild Rift is released.

However, this player might not realize that Arena of Valor is much easier to play than League of Legends: Wild Rift. Arena of Valor has been simplified by Timi to suit gamers of various ages. Compared to League of Legends: Wild Rift, Arena of Valor has removed many hardcore features such as warding, champions with four abilities… Therefore, the gameplay and mechanics of Arena of Valor are undoubtedly easier than those of League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Many other players believe that if this player is “beaten” in Arena of Valor, transitioning to League of Legends: Wild Rift may lead to even more severe beatings because League of Legends: Wild Rift not only requires more skills but also demands more strategic thinking and teamwork. Not to mention the larger map, numerous traps, and differences in elements like jungle monsters, dragons, Baron… could overwhelm Arena of Valor players who have never tried League of Legends before.

Perhaps, what this player needs to do now, if they want to switch to League of Legends: Wild Rift, is to download League of Legends to get a basic understanding of this game. Otherwise, if they jump straight into Wild Rift without prior experience, they will likely find themselves reinstalling Arena of Valor Mobile instead.
