Specifically, the character being discussed is Huỳnh Hàn Trúc Lâm (born in 2002, Phú Yên), who is currently in the 12th grade at Lê Lợi High School. She recently shared her inspiring weight loss story, having gone from 70kg down to just 49kg. Previously, she had quite a petite appearance, but when she entered 9th grade and began puberty, her weight suddenly surged dramatically. This left the schoolgirl feeling very pressured and even led her to experience a time of feeling embarrassed about her appearance.
“In 10th grade, my friends teased me, saying I looked like a big barrel in a traditional dress, and someone else called me ‘a giant piece of fat’,” Lâm shared. And perhaps, that was the motivation for her to start a strict weight loss regime. From diligently practicing gym and yoga to adhering to a strict diet.
