Recently, a gamer showcased his achievement of 4 consecutive Mega Kills, igniting a heated debate in the Arena of Valor community. The player boasted an impressive KDA of 18/1/8 with the character Wisp and secured the MVP title of the match. However, the claim of achieving 4 Mega Kills while only getting 18 kills left many in doubt.

Many people believe this gamer is “blowing smoke” because simply put, a Mega Kill requires killing 5 enemies in a row, meaning to achieve 4 Mega Kills, at least 20 enemy kills are needed. So, what is the truth?

A Mega Kill in Arena of Valor is defined as eliminating the entire enemy team (killing all 5 enemy heroes consecutively within 5 seconds).
However, with the continuous respawn mechanism after being defeated or if the opponent uses Rebirth to defend, subsequent kills will still count. Therefore, to achieve 4 consecutive Mega Kills, the gamer only needs at least 8 kills.

Thus, the gamer did not actually say anything incorrect; it was just the community that misunderstood his point. Mega Kills are very rare and not everyone can achieve such a high kill streak. Therefore, it is understandable that the community, having never encountered this situation before, is skeptical.
