Late on September 28, a video was shared on social media capturing the commotion outside Bar 1900 on Ta Hien Street (Hanoi), attracting the attention of online users. According to reports, after being ejected from the bar, the woman stripped off her clothes and laid down in the middle of the street.
The person who posted the video quoted the woman’s words from the incident, “In her own words: ‘They charged me a 150k entrance fee, then didn’t let me drink, and kicked me out. They didn’t refund my 150k. I can call the police; I have nothing left to lose.’ And she kept stripping as a challenge.
Witnesses said that she was being disruptive inside the bar, so they kicked her out, and Bar 1900 refunded her 150k, but she continued to yell and refused to leave, so some friends had to carry her to the police station.”

Footage from the clip shows that after being carried out by four young men, believed to be bar staff, and left lying in the street, the woman quickly got up and ran back to argue, “No, give me back my 110k and I’ll go home.” At this point, another woman outside called out, “You asked for 150k, they gave you 150k, and you’re still coming back for more.”
After a loud argument outside the bar proved fruitless, the woman stripped and lay down in the street, disregarding the many bystanders who were recording the incident.

While crying, the woman shouted loudly, “I told them to give me 110k, and I’d go home, but they didn’t give it to me. Fine, because I couldn’t drink. I didn’t get to drink… I didn’t get to drink 11 cups.” Her nonsensical words, even slurred from shouting so much, left many bystanders shaking their heads in disbelief.
Soon after, due to the noise disturbing other guests, the bar staff approached and physically removed the woman from the area.
After the incident was shared on social media, it quickly garnered attention. Although it’s unclear who was right or wrong, many found the woman’s public display of stripping to be inappropriate. Some speculated that she might have been drunk and not in her right mind to behave so “impulsively.”

In response to the noisy incident, a representative from Bar 1900 told us that the information circulating on social media about “kicking out customers who had already paid” was inaccurate.
They stated that the woman had entered the bar early, behaved disruptively, and was “acting out” inside. After attempts to calm her failed, the bar had to carry her outside to avoid disturbing others.
“We were very gentle, but she kept causing a scene and laying on the floor, scaring other customers,” the representative said.
It is reported that the Hàng Buồm Ward police quickly arrived to handle the situation, and the woman left shortly after.
