After numerous major and minor updates, mobile mages like Lissandra and LeBlanc have risen to prominence in the mid lane, leaving damage-over-time mages like Ryze and Anivia forgotten. According to statistics from CHAMPION.GG, Anivia currently has the lowest win rate among mid lane mages at around 47%. No one has paid attention to the Frost Phoenix, prompting Riot to make adjustments for this “old” champion in League of Legends.

Specifically, the flight speed of her basic attack will increase from 1500 to 1600. This means players can now more easily land auto-attacks during the farming phase. Harassing with basic attacks will also be used more instead of spamming abilities like before.

The Frostball (Q) will undergo the most overhaul with multiple compensatory stats.
The cooldown time will now decrease to 11/10/9/8/7 seconds corresponding to each level.
The energy cost will be reduced from 80/90/100/110/120 down to 80/85/90/95/100.
The flight speed of the Frostball increases to 950 units.
However, its damage will be slightly reduced but not significantly.
Glacial Prism (W) has also been balanced, mainly in terms of cooldown time and the duration of the wall. The cooldown time is no longer 17 seconds at all levels but changes to 20/19/18/17/16 seconds. In return, the wall’s duration increases at each level.

Frostbite (E) – Anivia’s main damage shock tool officially gets upgraded with an energy cost of only 40 units at all levels. Additionally, its damage increases to 60/90/120/150/180 (+0.6 AP). Thus, her ice shard strikes will now be much more dangerous.
Finally, her ultimate ability, Blizzard (R), will now have only a 1-second cooldown at max level. In the late game, you will see the blizzard area of the Frost Phoenix everywhere.
Along with Anivia, many changes will also be made to currently overperforming champions like Samira to balance the game. Patch 10.25 will officially hit the Vietnam server on December 9th.
