Not long ago, a PUBG Mobile player voiced their plea to the online community, claiming that VNG had unjustly banned their account. Specifically, initially, the account was only banned for a few days, but now the account has officially “gone to the island”, and is no longer usable.
Not accepting that his account was banned continuously for many days, this player decided to go directly to VNG’s headquarters to clarify the situation and demand justice for himself. Accordingly, he submitted a report and had to leave after a “head shake” from the publisher. He expressed considerable dissatisfaction with VNG’s resolution and is awaiting a response.

From this one-sided information, we contacted VNG for a response regarding this case. As of today, according to feedback from the publisher, it is known that VNG’s PUBG Mobile team checked the player’s account and discovered actions related to “changing character data”, which is considered cheating behavior and led to the decision to ban the account.
Additionally, regarding the publisher’s “silence” when the player requested evidence of the violation, VNG affirmed: Since this information is of a legal nature and confidential, PUBG Mobile cannot make it public.

This response may or may not ease the feelings of the unfortunate player, but certainly, the gaming community must reflect and draw necessary lessons from this incident for themselves. Stories of disputes between publishers and gamers have not been uncommon, and the outcomes of these debates often yield unfavorable results for the players.
A crucial lesson to remember is that for every game product in general and mobile games in particular, before logging into an account, players should carefully read all the terms of use provided by the publisher to avoid falling into unfavorable situations.
