Sharing old photos of oneself has never gone out of style among netizens. Especially, whenever someone famous posts a throwback, it sparks a lively discussion. The latest figure in this trend is Soytiet (real name: Sô Y Tiết, born in 1988) – a sensational internet star known for his counting song.
On his personal Instagram, Y Tiết posted a picture of himself from his youth with the caption: “16 years ago”. This year, the guy is 32 years old, meaning Soytiet was only 16 back then. In the photo, he sports a white shirt, dark pants tucked in, and cool black glasses.
Beneath Soytiet’s picture, fans were quick to express their delight and surprise, with most being international fans. Notably, some even thought he was a 50-year-old uncle until they saw this picture and believed the previous age of 32.
Recently, Soytiet’s fame has not only been limited to Vietnam but has spread worldwide. He continues to upload clips of himself counting numbers in English, which has become his trademark.
Currently, Soytiet boasts an enormous international fanbase, who are “crazy” about his genuine and rustic charm. His personal account now has 653k followers and he only posts statuses in English to cater to this large audience.
