Recently, the name Hieupc has been receiving a lot of attention on social media. His real name is Ngô Minh Hiếu, who was once a “notorious” hacker but is currently an employee at the National Cybersecurity Monitoring Center. However, receiving so much attention has also brought him numerous troubles. Specifically, recently, there have been several fake accounts and groups impersonating this hacker, created with no other purpose than to lure or sometimes scam unsuspecting users wanting to learn more about technology.

Although he has previously posted about taking down some fake websites impersonating him, the increasing number of social media accounts and fan pages impersonating him has clearly caused Hieupc some headaches. Recently, he made the online community laugh uncontrollably and feel extremely amused by applying a very handmade yet quite effective method to address this issue. He decided to cover his avatar and images on his personal page with numerous logos.

In addition to covering with logos, Hieupc was also quite careful by making a warning post on his personal page, stating that he is currently focusing only on his work and has no intention of opening any courses or selling any services related to technology.
Hieupc’s post quickly garnered the attention of a large number of fans and the online community – evident from the nearly 20,000 likes and shares on the post. Many people expressed agreement and thought that Hieupc’s action was necessary because, indeed, at this point, the number of fake accounts impersonating him is quite high. Additionally, many found it humorous that a technology expert resorted to such a “handcrafted” method. Some even suggested that Hieupc should apply for a verified badge to avoid confusion.
