Specifically:
– Hanoi reported 1 patient (BN 1883): An F1 of BN 1814 linked to the outbreak in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province.
– Hai Duong reported 2 patients (BN 1884 – 1885): workers from Chi Linh City, who have been isolated, with no risk of transmission to the community, tested negative for the first time on January 28.
– Binh Duong reported 2 patients (BN 1886 – BN 1887): 2 F1 of BN 1843, BN 1801 linked to the outbreak in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong.
– Gia Lai reported 4 patients (BN 1888 – 1891): 3 F1 linked to the POYUN Company outbreak in Hai Duong Province; 1 case is under epidemiological investigation.

Total COVID-19 cases in Vietnam: 1891
– As of 6 AM on February 3: Vietnam has a total of 1003 COVID-19 cases due to domestic transmission, with 310 new cases reported since January 27.
– From 6 PM on February 2 to 6 AM on February 3: 9 new cases, with 0 cases from abroad immediately isolated.
Number of people in quarantine: The total number of close contacts and entrants from epidemic areas under health monitoring (quarantine): 27,714, including:
– Concentrated isolation in hospitals: 227
– Concentrated isolation in other facilities: 20,917
– Home quarantine, at residence: 6,570.
Treatment situation: According to the report from the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control: as of now, our country has cured 1,461 COVID-19 patients.
Up to this point, among the COVID-19 patients being treated at medical facilities, the number of cases testing negative for the first time with the SARS-CoV-2 virus is 3; the number of cases testing negative for the second time with SARS-CoV-2 is 7, and the number of cases testing negative for the third time is 2.
Among the patients being treated at medical facilities across the country, currently, BN 1536 is the most severe patient being treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital. BN 1536 is elderly, with a history of high blood pressure and diabetes for many years.
