If you follow the couple Khởi My and Kelvin Khánh, you know that this duo has long been famous for their love of gaming, and Khởi My officially becoming a streamer last July didn’t come as a surprise to many. She signed a contract with OTA and became a partner of Facebook Gaming, truly becoming a female streamer who frequently broadcasts popular games like PUBG, League of Legends, Apex Legends…

Besides having a loyal fanbase from her extensive work in the arts, Khởi My also gained a strong gaming fan community as she charmed viewers with her playful and humorous personality during streams. In addition to streaming games, she actively interacts with her audience, frequently organizing custom games in League of Legends to play with fans, and sometimes, in a cheerful mood, she even sings for her viewers.

She has always been this way, but during her New Year livestream this morning, Khởi My unexpectedly received an “inappropriate” comment from a Facebook account: “Her voice tries to mimic Amee’s cute style but actually sounds like a dying fish, nowhere near Amee today. Just a karaoke singer :))”. Reading this comment, many people expressed their discomfort and anger on behalf of the two mentioned female singers.

Clearly, Khởi My is a senior and a predecessor of Amee, so using the term “mimic” is considered inappropriate. Moreover, the singer of Why has also previously dominated many high rankings on music charts, so the viewer’s comment is deemed superficial, even unintentionally causing misunderstandings between the fans of both female singers.
Although she did nothing wrong, this streaming “incident” will undoubtedly cause unnecessary trouble for streamer Khởi My. Nevertheless, with her inherent positive energy, fans believe she will maintain her cheerful spirit and swiftly redirect the narrative of this not-so-smooth situation.
