It is known that Tian, who comes from Hebei province, lost his mobile phone 3 years ago while participating in the construction of a road.
One day, while walking with his family, he unexpectedly discovered his beloved phone buried deep under the layer of concrete of that very road.
According to Chinese media, this road has a history of over 20 years. In the summer of 2018, during a village road renovation project, Tian was selected as the site supervisor. During the construction process, he carelessly lost his phone without realizing it. It may have fallen out of his pocket and sunk into the still-wet concrete of the new road. Over a long period, the road surface gradually eroded, and the unfortunate phone began to appear.
“I thought I had lost it when I couldn’t find it and therefore stopped looking for it” – Tian said. He mentioned that he had only used the phone for a little over a year and bought a new phone right after losing the old one.
“While working, I must have dropped this phone and then couldn’t find it. When my family and I went out for a walk, I suddenly discovered it. Looking closer, I was truly amazed that it was indeed my phone. It felt like a miracle, so I immediately took a photo”
Tian said he would carefully dig up the phone to see if it could work again, and of course, he would use concrete to fill in the hole in the road.
