Than Thu Hien, a 1999-born female gamer from Bac Giang province, is a single mom with a 4-year-old son. Initially, Hien played games for entertainment and to chat with friends who shared her passion. Nearly two years ago, she met Nguyen Doan Quan, also born in 1999 and from Ha Tinh, in a gaming forum: “At first, we just invited each other to play together. After that, we talked more, made an impression, and I flirted and confessed my feelings to him.”
Quan, a male gamer from Ha Tinh, also had feelings for Hien, who often played alongside him, so he had no reason to refuse. However, their joy was short-lived when Quan and his family learned that his girlfriend was a “single mom.” Due to societal prejudices, the couple was forced to break up.
During the time apart, Quan realized his feelings were strong, and Hien was the most special girlfriend he had ever had, so he reached out to reconcile, willing to face the difficulties, especially the opposition from their families:
“Of course, at first, everything wasn’t smooth; there were many conflicts on both sides. As the person in between, I could only navigate the situation, and over time, both families and my girlfriend came to understand each other better. After a year and a half of dating, we decided to get married next month,” – Doan Quan excitedly shared.
The couple shared that their partner is understanding, hardworking, and caring towards those around them. To reach the decision to live together, both PUBG Mobile gamers carefully considered and were determined to start a family, wanting to settle down, work diligently, and stabilize their lives.
In sharing her own “fairy tale” story, Than Thu Hien believes that finding a suitable and loving partner is truly a stroke of luck.
