Recently, Chinese public opinion has been stirred by the story of a billionaire family in Zhejiang Province seeking a son-in-law. The tycoon has made an attractive offer for the future husband of his daughter, causing a frenzy on social media.
According to ETToday’s report on March 16, since their daughter is 26 years old and has yet to find a marriage partner, the tycoon couple printed a notice announcing the “son-in-law recruitment” and distributed it throughout their community, hoping to find a suitable husband for their daughter.
The notice states: “My daughter is 26 years old, not very good at speaking, and the future son-in-law will take care of my daughter and us elderly parents. The dowry includes a living allowance of 20,000 RMB per month (71 million VND), plus two houses and a Range Rover supercar from the UK.”

The “son-in-law recruitment” notice from a tycoon in Zhejiang Province.
The parents of the young heiress also included contact methods on the “son-in-law recruitment” notice. They stated that anyone who wishes to apply must first pay a transportation fee of 10,000 RMB (35.5 million VND). They emphasized that only sincere applicants should apply, and others should refrain from contacting them.
Immediately after the information spread on social media, public opinion became chaotic. However, many people are skeptical about the authenticity of the situation, as if they need someone to care for their daughter and themselves, they could simply hire a caregiver instead of seeking a marriage.
Currently, the issue is still being actively discussed by the online community.
