On the afternoon of May 4, Nguyen Tien Hong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Health, confirmed this information.
According to initial information, the female employee is named D.T.N.H., working in the massage area at Phu An Hotel, 2/9 Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang.
It is known that H. along with 17 other individuals are being concentrated in quarantine at Phu An Hotel since the afternoon of May 3 and have been tested for COVID-19.

The test results on the morning of May 4 showed that employee H. tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, she has been transferred to Da Nang Lung Hospital for monitoring and treatment.
According to the observations of reporters, also on the morning of May 4, Phu An Hotel has been locked down, with police forces stationed there to prevent anyone from entering or leaving this area. At the same time, health staff were present to disinfect and instruct the remaining individuals to implement preventive measures.



Currently, authorities are urgently tracing those who came into contact with this female employee. It is known that about 12 people worked in the massage area at Phu An Hotel.
Previously, as reported, on the morning of May 4, the Ministry of Health announced a new community case in Da Nang named N.T.N. (male, 23 years old, from Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province), who is a ticket seller in the spa area at Phu An Hotel, 2/9 Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang.
