Despite being seen as a “dead game” in Vietnam due to frequent hacking issues, Call of Duty Mobile has not officially shut down yet. The recent positive changes from this game serve as a boost, “soothing” the hearts of its loyal fans.
Specifically, the new character skin update in the game resembles the uniforms of the Marine Corps. This has sparked a sense of national pride among gamers.
“Every Vietnamese player of COD has to get this one,”
“Looks beautiful and more aesthetically pleasing than previous characters,”
“Just looking at the image makes the music play in my head”…

Additionally, one user commented: “The real-life prototype is beautiful, but I’m not too pleased with it in the game.”
However, that’s not all. Beyond constructive comments, the post also received some negative comments, believed to come from rival games. Some even mocked, saying: “CODM is just a fashion game”, leaving die-hard fans “heated” and retorting against the most downloaded survival shooter game on mobile in 2019, stating: “Free Fire is the real fashion game. Even PUBG. This game (CODM) is just full of characters in military uniforms!”

Notably, this content is within a closed group of the Call of Duty Mobile community, and commenting like this is no different from inciting offline gamer wars.
“External enemies” are not the only issue; “internal enemies” also give admins headaches with negative comments, even going as far as to call it pessimistic: “The page is getting worse and worse. Publishing nonsense. The game is lagging more and more. Hacks are not being cleared.”

Certainly, Vietnamese gamers are no stranger to Call of Duty Mobile, the blockbuster shooter backed by Activision, Tencent, and released in Vietnam by VNG. This product was once expected to become a true masterpiece in mobile shooting games.

However, Call of Duty Mobile barely shone for a moment before quickly dimming due to numerous issues that have exceeded the control of the publisher.
