The song took over a year to be released
“Tộc ca” was released in July 2019 to great anticipation and support from the fan community of streamer Độ Mixi and gamers in general. As of now, the MV has surpassed 17 million views on YouTube. Moreover, its melody has become incredibly familiar to those who love Độ Mixi.
This success has motivated the Tay ethnic streamer to continue nurturing plans for a new song for himself and his fans titled “Do Tộc 2” with higher quality.
As initially planned, the song was supposed to be released on Độ Mixi’s birthday last year, with the hope that it would be a meaningful gift for the mighty MixiGaming clan. However, due to various setbacks, the MV has only just officially aired. During the livestream, Độ Mixi also shared that this brand-new song was produced by Masew, performed by Pháo and Phúc Du. Not only that, the Clan Leader will also lend his voice to a few parts.
Previously, Độ Mixi also shared moments of recording with Pháo and Phúc Du, as well as the story of “sealing the deal” for music from Masew on Discord, which amused many.
Độ Mixi expressed: “This song was made in April 2020, so it might not sound quite right now, but it’s been a while, and I feel guilty for keeping it so long, so I hope everyone will accept and forgive me… Celebrating one year of moving to a new house with the new Độ Tộc song.
