Recently, a case in Hanoi where a parent accused an English teacher of “not wearing clothes” while tutoring an 8-year-old student online has sparked outrage in the online community.
According to the parent’s account, normally, the child studies alone with the teacher (one-on-one). However, one day, the parent decided to check on the online lesson and was shocked to discover that the teacher was not wearing any clothes.
This parent then recorded the scene and posted it on social media.

It is known that this teacher was tutoring at an English center outside of Hanoi and has now resigned, apologizing to the family of the 8-year-old student after the incident.
According to Dân trí, this teacher is 28 years old and is married. She was originally an employee of a travel company. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, she has been working part-time at this center for a few months as she is fluent in both English and Japanese.
The center also explained that the teacher had stepped into a hidden corner to change clothes but did not expect to be caught on camera. Currently, the teacher is experiencing psychological shock due to the severe backlash from the online community. The center has also stated that they will be ready to support this teacher with legal advice as some individuals have spread incorrect information on social media.
The center has refunded the parent, and if the family still wishes for their child to continue learning English at the center, appropriate solutions will be provided. The family has also agreed to remove the post and video, as the publication of the video has greatly affected the teacher.
