Over the years, not only has the inappropriate display of nudity on streams been a cause for concern, but many “artistic” works by streamers have also led to their bitter bans. Recently, another streamer has followed this path, creating an Among Us drawing that he deemed artistic, but to outsiders, it appeared extremely inappropriate, provocative, and even contained 18+ elements.

Among Us is generally considered a harmless game with humorous and cute imagery, yet no one expected that through the lens of Wantep, a fairly popular streamer on Twitch, the story would unfold quite differently. By creating a drawing of an Among Us character using standard characters and letters in a classic ASCII format, Wantep made many Among Us fans blush as he added elements that could easily lead many to associate it with 18+ imagery.

Not stopping at the livestream, Wantep later posted his “artistic work” on his personal page to publicly share it with the world, almost as if to claim copyright. In the comments section, the streamer shocked even more when he admitted that what he drew indeed resembled the thoughts of many who looked at the image.
Wantep’s actions were nothing short of a public challenge to the governing platforms, and the price he had to pay came swiftly after. Specifically, a 3-day channel ban was imposed as a warning for him, while the developers of Among Us are also considering whether to “ban” this streamer after he so severely tarnished the image of their characters.
