In recent years, “content creators,” or known in Vietnamese as “Người sáng tạo nội dung,” have become one of the most popular professions. Essentially, these are TikTokers, streamers, or YouTubers—individuals who frequently bring fresh content to their viewers. However, as profits become influenced by viewing and interaction rates, many videos featuring content that “crosses the line” have emerged, sometimes even being inappropriate. A prime example is the case of the TikToker below.
Following the “Prank video” trend, this TikToker attempted to tease strangers he encountered on the streets, capturing their reactions as a comedic way to create content to attract viewers. However, as the saying goes, “what goes around comes around,” and the TikToker named Jay here found that out. Specifically, on that day, Jay trolled quite a number of people with his “loudspeaker” antics, most of whom just laughed and walked away until Jay encountered a rather unfriendly “player.”
Specifically, when Jay tried to “blow away” a stranger’s ear with a DIY loudspeaker made from PVC pipes, he seemed unaware that he had picked the wrong target. Whether it was due to surprise or the fact that the victim was skilled, after being startled, Jay’s target said nothing much and immediately took him down, applying a chokehold on the TikToker.
More notably, Jay quickly realized he had chosen the wrong target, continuously shouting, “This is a prank,” while begging for mercy. However, the man seemed unwilling to let him off easily and was ready to teach this TikToker a free lesson about teasing others. After a while of Jay struggling to plead for mercy, the man finally released him.
Witnessing the video, many people expressed agreement with what Jay received and advised that next time, the TikToker should limit his pranks to a more reasonable level, lest he end up facing undeserved consequences like this incident.
