The news of Khoa Pug’s retirement is perhaps one of the biggest surprises for the online community in recent days. Known for numerous controversies and even dubbed the richest YouTuber in Vietnam due to his extravagant spending, Khoa Pug’s name has recently been highlighted only through drama with diamond king Johnny Dang in the final stages of his career. While it’s somewhat sad that fans will no longer be able to watch Khoa Pug’s luxurious review videos, what the online community is particularly interested in right now is the future of his YouTube channel, which is close to 5 million subscribers.

According to estimates from Social Blade, the world’s most reputable independent statistics site, Khoa Pug’s channel generates an annual revenue of between 56,200 USD and 899.9 thousand USD (approximately 1.2 billion VND to 20 billion VND). However, these figures are merely estimates, and Khoa Pug himself has often shared that he has “lost money” while making review clips. Specifically, in the past, this YouTuber revealed that many of his million-view videos did not earn any money despite ads being present. Sometimes, there were months when he received no income from YouTube and had to spend from his own pocket to create videos.

Nevertheless, with nearly 5 million subscribers, Khoa Pug’s YouTube channel remains highly valuable. Currently, it is still unknown how this YouTuber will handle this “asset.” But remember that earlier, during the drama with Johnny Dang, Khoa Pug mentioned that if someone offered him 30 billion VND to buy the channel, he would be willing to sell it. “If anyone says I would pay 35 billion to act for attention, then whoever wants to buy my 4 million subscriber YouTube channel for 30 billion, I’m willing to sell and step back. I don’t need this attention-seeking method; what I need now is to preserve my life and live peacefully.” – Khoa Pug stated after being accused of “seeking fame” following the loud drama a few months ago.

Of course, this might just be Khoa Pug’s playful number regarding the situation at that time. As he once stated: “30 billion to you” may seem huge, but to me, it’s like trash,” Khoa Pug likely has no reason to sell his YouTube channel, despite his retirement and having no plan to use the channel anymore.
