PXN has just launched the PXN 9609 gaming controller. This product is not aimed at direct retail but is an “Original Design Manufacturer” (ODM) for other brands, which is why the packaging is somewhat different. However, based on actual impressions of the design, users can feel that the product is still very carefully crafted.
The PXN 9609 controller comes in 4 colors for easy selection: Splatoon (Purple – Blue), Animal Crossing (Green), Goku (Orange), and Neon (Green – Red).
Perhaps the Neon (Green – Red) color is the most sought after due to its standout nature and compatibility with the Nintendo Switch.
Unlike its “older siblings” like the PXN 9613 or PXN 9616, which only support PC or PS3 and Android, the PXN 9609, while being cheaper, supports a much wider range of platforms including: iOS, Android, Switch, PC, and Playstation 3 – all contained within a very reasonable price of 499,000 VND, making it accessible to most users today.
In terms of appearance, the PXN 9609 features a traditional Xbox controller form, making it suitable for most users today. This includes an asymmetrical design, two analog sticks, and joystick nubs on either side.
The PXN 9609 has plenty of buttons for you to use across multiple platforms. For instance, the Home button (house icon) can be used to turn on/off as well as interact with the Switch console.
The T button is a Turbo button that enhances your efficiency (instead of pressing multiple buttons at once, you can press T + any button), take screenshots, or use the + and – buttons in Switch games.
The connection standard of the PXN 9609 wireless gaming controller is the very modern and popular USB Type-C. This is a clear advantage that shows PXN’s significant improvement.
Compared to the PXN 9603, the PXN 9609 is quite different in appearance with a more compact and youthful design – aimed at younger users who have more leisure time for gaming.
Interestingly, the controller’s packaging does not have any PXN information as this is a newly launched model produced for a few brands, so the product is still quite new and not yet in standard packaging. However, for users looking for a “great” controller, the PXN 9609 is undoubtedly a worthy choice with both good aesthetics and quality, along with a long-lasting battery.
