“Flex” is one of the slang terms in English that young people, especially rap fans, frequently use on social media. Ignoring the academic meanings, “flex” is used to refer to the act of excessive bragging that makes others uncomfortable.
In the past, “flex” was typically used by rappers or rap enthusiasts. However, the scope of “flex” has now expanded beyond the rap community. It’s not hard to find content related to “flexing” on social media platforms, such as showcasing luxury cars, flaunting designer clothes, or glamorous house tours… Examples include “Look at me, my legs are so long they don’t even fit in these LV pants” or “I just made a few billion with my new project”,…
However, everything in the hands of Gen Z becomes “humorous” and significantly more positive. There’s no longer a flex that makes people want to “mock”; instead, it creates a sense of being “speechless” in front of the laugh-out-loud “flexing” moments.
Recently, to satisfy the young people’s passion for “flex,” the group “Flex Until the Last Breath” was born. In less than two months, the membership has skyrocketed, currently standing at 470k members and still growing.

In this group, everyone shares various types of “flexing” that leave readers speechless.

There are also some “flex” moments from those with absolute talent, leaving people nodding because “not flexing would be a waste”.

Even BLACKPINK’s idol Jennie has recently been dubbed the champion of “flex until the last breath” when she posted an outfit picture in France. There’s nothing much to debate about Jennie posting an outfit photo, but this was actually a response to rumors of her dating.

What about you, do you have anything you want to flex?
