It is known that the group “Flex Until the Last Breath” was established at the end of May. After nearly 2 months, the number of members has reached 1.4 million. The rapid increase in membership and the content and topics of the group’s flexing suggest that this is one of the trends attracting many young people to participate.
As the founder, Dang Huu Thinh (born 1994, from Da Lat) noticed that Vietnam has many talented young people but lacks a place to comfortably share their achievements. Therefore, he hopes that anyone joining the group will have the opportunity to spread positivity and motivation to others.
However, on the evening of July 20, Thinh unexpectedly announced that the group would temporarily cease operations for the next 6 months.
“During the past time, I was truly surprised to welcome a large number of users joining the group. I thank all the veteran members, the quality ones with many creative plays, scoring moments, and VAR checks from when the group was not famous until the students, entrepreneurs, KOLs, singers, actors, MCs, athletes… who have actively participated, spreading a lot of positive energy. I also sincerely apologize for the many posts that have not been approved.
However, I would like to keep the group archived for 6 months for the reason that we need a change, a new improvement for the group and the Flex community. Who knows, after 6 months, many of you may have special achievements and more content, and then we can meet again in the group. The reopening time: 00:00 January 23, 2024,” Thinh said.

Under the announcement post, the online community expressed regret for not having the chance to flex before the temporary closure. Many young people also took the opportunity to “flex until the last breath” right under the post. Some members quickly joined new emerging flex groups such as: Flex Until the Last Breath of Life; Nothing to Flex…
User Thi Yen Phuong Nguyen wrote: “Thank you admin Dang Huu Thinh for creating a meaningful playground, igniting inspiration and motivation for the participants of the group. I was also lucky to post something to share and interact with everyone before the group temporarily closes; I am grateful and cherish it.”
Anny Nguyen humorously commented: “Flex until the last breath, but now it’s temporarily closed for 6 months, which means it’s still breathing, then suddenly stops breathing, will it still be able to breathe when it returns?”
“I agree with the admin’s decision to close for 6 months because personally, I don’t have any achievements to flex like everyone in the group, but it seems that recently I’ve seen the group starting to decline, from the posts to the comments, it doesn’t feel as joyful as when I first joined the group.
Indeed, the group soared like a kite in the wind, but the wind can easily make the kite break its string. We should take a 6-month break to prevent the group from failing. After 6 months, the group can make a strong comeback,” user Bao Le expressed.
Before the sensational “Flex Until the Last Breath” phenomenon, the group’s owner received many offers to buy the group. However, Thinh currently confirms that he will not sell the group because he wants to spread positive spirit to everyone.
