The online community in general, and TikTok users in particular, know Pun Pun for her daily life videos as well as her passion for collecting Lolita fashion.

Her real name is Phạm Diễm Quỳnh, a Gen Z living and working in Hanoi. She owns a collection of fluffy Lolita dresses that are heavily inspired by Japanese anime. Notably, the prices of these dresses are not cheap at all, averaging from 3-5 million VND. For special pieces, prices can even range from 10-20 million VND.
Pun asserts that her collection of dresses is all purchased by herself. The funds come from the revenue of a small shop selling designed dresses, modeling, and TikTok. She mentioned that she is not a fan of luxury brands and only spends if her finances allow and usually for a special occasion.

Recently, during a chat with her followers, Pun drew attention when she openly shared details about her own cosmetic surgery. Previously, she had posted images of the process but only revealed now: “I have 5 million, and I asked my parents for 195 million” for the surgery.

For this female TikToker, the reason for her decisions stems from being teased about her appearance due to “body shaming” back in middle school, which left her with wounds and insecurities about her looks, prompting her to change for the better. Although initially faced with opposition, Pun’s parents eventually supported her because of her determination.

Unlike the understanding of the majority of viewers, this TikToker was also criticized by netizens who claimed: “She must be spending her parents’ money,” and “Princess syndrome…” In response to the negative comments, she initially maintained a nonchalant attitude, focusing on her work to prove her capabilities. However, she also made a bold statement, saying: “Asking my parents for money has nothing to do with anyone else”, and thus does not deserve such comments. Above all, Pun knows that her family and friends understand her true self.

Although she does not encourage viewers to undergo cosmetic surgery, she believes that if it helps her feel more confident or facilitates her work, it’s worth pursuing.
