Gamer Sets Record for Steam Account
Recently, a new record for Steam account level has been established by a player known as Stasik. He is believed to be from the United Arab Emirates, although this information has yet to be confirmed. With a current level of 5900, it is estimated that he has spent around 500,000 USD (over 12 billion VND) to achieve this shocking milestone.

For regular Steam players, leveling up an account is done by playing games and unlocking badges. However, some financially capable players opt for a quicker route by purchasing badges directly from the Steam marketplace. This has created an underground competition among wealthy gamers willing to spend big just to own a “powerful” account. Therefore, this phenomenon is not unusual, but Stasik draws attention due to his enormous spending.

Previously, ST4CK – a famous CS:GO skin collector – held the record for the highest level on Steam with over 5000, costing him around 50,000 USD (1.2 billion VND).
According to ohnePixel – a well-known streamer, Stasik’s account features a valuable collection of CS2 skins with many rare items such as AWP Dragon Lores and M4A4 Howls, each worth tens of thousands of USD. However, it was also ohnePixel who discovered that this wealthy player’s inventory contains stickers that violate standards. This could put Stasik’s account at risk of being permanently banned. If this happens, the gamer will lose everything.
