Last weekend (September 7), at Spartacus Gaming Center (8 Quang Trung, Ha Dong, Hanoi), GTV organized the much-anticipated Grand Finals of the tournament named Hanoi Final 2024. This can be considered the biggest eSports tournament of the year for two disciplines: AoE (Age of Empires) and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), with the support of many major sponsors (DareU, AKKO, ViewSonic, Western Digital, Skin.club,…), elevating the scale and quality of the tournament with a total prize pool of up to 150 million VND.

Despite the challenges posed by severe weather, the Hanoi Final 2024 tournament received a warm welcome with the participation of Chim Sẻ Đi Nắng, Dev Nguyễn, and Nhism (Refund Gaming) alongside the entire community of AoE and CS2 from various provinces.

Hanoi Final 2024 – Age of Empires Final
In this edition of the Hanoi Final 2024 tournament, the unique format of 2 players, 1 color (also known as double control) will be applied. This is considered one of the most special formats created by the AoE community, helping to bridge the skill gap between semi-professional and professional AoE players, thus creating balanced and thrilling matches for the audience.
The AoE Grand Final of Hanoi Final 2024 featured two semi-professional teams: Tễu Canh (Ronal Tễu – Đinh Xuân Canh) and Bắc Giang (TinTin – Phán Đoàn). These are well-known names in the AoE Phủi scene. Ultimately, team Tễu Canh emerged victorious with a very close score of 9-8 in the intense 9-point showdown.

Hanoi Final 2024 – Counter-Strike 2 Final
The Hanoi Final 2024 Grand Final is the first Vietnamese tournament to be featured on HLTV (the international CS:GO news site) after 5 years. This is the “long-awaited showdown” between the two top representatives from the North and South: Blaze Warriors and Elocon Clan.
The final match promises to be incredibly thrilling as they are also the champions of the Spring (Elocon Clan) and Summer (Blaze Warriors) seasons in the GPlay Premier tournament organized by GTV.

Finally, the championship trophy remained in Hanoi after a day of rain and stormy weather. The champion of CS2 Vietnam is officially named as Blaze Warriors after defeating the best team from the Southern region, Elocon Clan, to win convincingly after just 3 maps of competition.

Conclusion
The grand finals of the Hanoi Final 2024 held during the BIG OFFLINE event on September 7 concluded successfully beyond expectations with many memorable moments. This also marks a new milestone for GTV, aiming to bring even larger events to the community in the future in Vietnam, and even reaching out internationally.
