MC Phuong Thao Goes All Out
Although the Vietnamese team has been eliminated from the AIC 2024, the semi-final stage held yesterday, December 28, was still very lively. Many Vietnamese fans came to support and cheer for the remaining international Lien Quan teams. In that vibrant atmosphere, MC Phuong Thao also decided to “go big” by choosing to cosplay as Krixi to host the show.
The female MC shared about her transformation into this favorite champion: “In my 5 years in Esports, I’ve only cosplayed as Natalya once. I want to give myself a memorable experience, so I’m cosplaying as Krixi – the first champion I played. I really made it happen, even though I once thought I couldn’t do it.
This is my first time deciding to cosplay on stage – inspired by the first champion I played in my life with the highest win rate skin. Even though people told me, ‘there’s no Krixi like this…’, I still feel extremely happy after a month of preparing this outfit.”
Krixi – Nature Spirit is a female mage champion in the game Lien Quan Mobile.
Released from the early days of Lien Quan Mobile, in season 1, Krixi was a popular mage choice among many gamers due to her power. She possesses a skill set that deals area magical damage and has the ability to knock up enemies, making many gamers regret facing this champion.
Krixi’s design is considered quite appealing, with beautiful outfits, making her an inspiration for many cosplayers to create impressive performances. However, Phuong Thao is the first MC to bring this character’s design to the stage.
