First Lesson: “Gathering Resources Pays Off”

You cannot have a backpack filled with ammunition, medical supplies, water, or accompanying accessories if you do not diligently “loot” items. By searching and rummaging through houses on any map in PUBG Mobile, your backpack will naturally fill up quickly. Not to mention, we also need at least some minimum weapons, like a shotgun, a frying pan, or a crowbar for self-defense as soon as we land on the map.

Why do I enjoy PUBG Mobile right from the initial weapon and equipment search? It is precisely the act of finding important, valuable items that could belong to me. Each match, the game has already prepared a “feast” for players; you just need to search and test your skills.

Just like in life, perhaps God has bestowed gifts upon us, and it is up to you to discover them. Material wealth does not come to you by itself; it requires hard work, investment, and searching. “On the path to success, there are no footprints of lazy people” – a famous quote by the writer Lu Xun truly resonates with gamers who love PUBG Mobile. Just keep going, and you will arrive; life is a long journey. Each person’s luggage will be different, but I always believe that diligence and hard work will yield results in the future.
“Risk More, Gain More”
It seems that, in some respects, being diligent and hardworking alone is not enough for “looting” in PUBG Mobile. To become richer and stronger, we need to have a little… daring spirit.

Even if you loot the entire map, the items you receive will only be at a decent level (helmets, level 2 vests, a few basic guns like AK-47, M416), or even below average like UMP9, Uzi, and a few shotguns, even in places considered rich. You might get lucky and pick up a flare gun, but it’s extremely rare. That might be enough to defend yourself or react against a few weak opponents, but it’s hard to “survive to become a legend.”
To become “fierce,” we need “golden” items, “VIP” gear. Airdrops are what bring you that! Everyone knows that they contain “delicacies”: exclusive outfits (like the grass suit, gorilla suit, or snowman suit), powerful weapons like Groza, AWM, M249, not to mention an abundance of ammunition, and the highest level 3 helmets and vests. But to possess such equipment, you must monitor, compete fiercely, risk your life, or even gamble with your own safety (you must not get knocked down). The only way is to take risks, but it requires a smart strategy!

In this life, there are many things we want to possess, things we dream of like scoring high on exams, having a beautiful girlfriend, or running our own company… Hard work and patience alone are not enough; from the determination to own “VIP” items in PUBG Mobile, I understand that we need to be bold, think strategically, and do everything possible within our means. Daring sometimes is not foolishness; it is the action of surpassing our limits to achieve what we think is impossible. Is daring the seed of the extraordinary? Because glory always requires betting and sacrifice!
“Unity is Strength”
Most games have team modes (Co-op). But for me, fighting in teams in PUBG Mobile is one of the best experiences. More specifically, in Squad (4-player teams), even in Duo (2-player teams) or in Team Deathmatch mode, I feel that cooperating in tactics is crucial in every battle to achieve final victory.

PUBG Mobile is a game that requires players to maintain high concentration, stimulating and maximizing every ability of gamers. In team modes, regardless of the form, it is essential that team members understand each other and the entire team needs a reasonable tactical approach.
Activities such as competing for locations (where good loot is likely to be found, like Pochinki, Paradise Resort, Pecado, Castle…), stealing airdrops, raiding houses, and direct combat all require cooperation, information exchange, and synergy within the team. This is also the most evident activity in shooting games, through coordinating forces: who is the “tanker,” who holds the “sniper,” which member provides cover for the whole team… Team fighting in PUBG Mobile is an activity rich in eSports, the most teamwork-oriented strategy that I can feel.

Similarly, in today’s era of strong social interaction, groups and communities have become an essential organization. While there are individuals who can achieve miracles, success comes from connecting, exchanging, and learning from each other. “Teamwork” has long become a term, an activity, or a mandatory skill for us to develop in the work environment, in social life. Always having partners to discuss, overcome challenges, and grow together is truly wonderful, just as it is when the whole team dominates an airdrop or takes down a formidable team in PUBG Mobile. That’s why there’s a saying: “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together!”
“Luck Over Wisdom”
Even though it is a game rich in strategy and combat thinking, the element of luck is undeniably crucial in PUBG Mobile. Having played many strategy and role-playing games, I personally feel that Tencent and VNG’s game requires luck more than ever!

In a match, many players share that there are numerous instances where death comes in a ridiculous and unreasonable manner. While running for the safe zone, even after scanning all directions, it is common to have someone “sneak up” from behind, causing you to die unexpectedly. You might be engrossed in “looting” an airdrop when suddenly a shot from a tree or rock with a Kar98k can take your life. The whole team is running for the safe zone, but the enemy team is like a “South American boa” (hiding in the grass on the map) that clears the entire team in an instant… Many humorous situations related to luck in PUBG Mobile.

“Efforts depend on people, but success depends on fate” in our lives reminds us that luck is always needed, and everyone wishes for it to accompany them like a deity, a divine being, or a magical charm. Although we know that it is an illusion, a spiritual color, because no one knows how luck works, whether it will come or not, many still believe that their success is partly or entirely due to luck. To put it another way, it’s due to good karma, and “virtue” is good to achieve such results.
“Failure is the Mother of Success”
In PUBG Mobile, you only have one chance to survive, only one opportunity to fight; being eliminated means you are “out” of the game. It’s tough for a match to always place us in the top 10, top 5, top 3, or top 1. But all efforts will be rewarded, especially when you know where the weaknesses are.

After each failure, every match where I had to endure being “out immediately from the start,” my experience in PUBG Mobile increases. I no longer make silly mistakes, avoiding careless maneuvers. If you want to cross a road while the safe zone is closing, be sure to “check” all the trees and rocks around because someone might be “waiting” for you. When approaching an airdrop, it’s safer to know to throw a “smoke” grenade to blind opponents. Take advantage of looting someone’s body; don’t stand still; keep moving around… and many lessons I learn each time I get eliminated.

This is similar in life. Success does not come overnight; it is due to diligent training, recognizing, and correcting mistakes. Success is both a moment and a process of honing and avoiding previous failures. Daring to fail and recognizing the lessons will help us grow more, gain more courage in every battle or situation. Now, in my daily work, I have faced losses and failures, but I do not get discouraged or give up. Instead, I continue to rise with the lessons I have learned. Success is always ahead!
A Few Words of Reflection…
There are many games I have played a few times and then deleted, some I only play when I have free time, but they don’t leave much impression, and many games are just entertainment, seeking joy, and making new friends. But for PUBG Mobile, I always have a love, a respect, and silently thank it for the lessons it has brought me. These are life lessons!
After each match, I reflect on something to gain experience and play better. However, I think, more importantly, I have learned life experiences to apply in social life. The game (game) is like life; we must be proactive, cunning, know how to cooperate, and be truly courageous. Could PUBG Mobile be a microcosm of society?

Having been with my “brother” PUBG Mobile for a full year now, there are indeed many unforgettable memories. Through the pages of news, I have come to know and understand the game better. In the game, I have met many friends, sharing joys and sorrows in life. The game brings extremely enjoyable moments of stress relief after tiring work hours. For me, PUBG Mobile is not just a game. It is a colorful world (with beautiful scenery from the islands I explore: Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, or Vikendi), a place to meet friends from all over, a battlefield that provides me with valuable lessons, and now a part of my life.
Forever love PUBG Mobile!
